What Do We Do?

We introduce legislation at our Annual Conference in Grove City each year combating non-Biblical agendas in our conference.  Each year we are crucial in introducing and passing legislation for the Sanctity of Life, promoting Biblical ministry of healing and change rather than approval among those suffering sexual brokenness (homosexual and otherwise), and in general lifting up Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Bible as God’s Holy Word.

We also recruit and promote both lay and clergy candidates for elected offices such as Lay Equalization Members, General Conference Delegates, and Jurisdictional Delegates.  Last year was our most successful year to date.  We estimated that 50% of our General/Jurisdictional delegation was what we would call “Evangelical” -people we backed and supported.  Another 20% of the delegates (by our estimation) elected were at least “moderate” in their stance.  We viewed this as a miraculous success!

In general- we are fighting to uphold the traditional, Biblical, Christ centered history of our church for you.  Please join us!!  Go to the “What Can I Do” page and see how.  For more information about us read the information below.

Just Who Are We?

We are a loose association of Pastor's and Lay People in our Conference who have a love for Christ and desire true spiritual renewal among our churches.  Renewal based upon the Truth of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Inspired Word of God.

What is "Evangelical"?

The term "Evangelical" is descriptive of Christians who hold to what John Wesley described as the "essential doctrines."  These essentials are original sin, the deity of Christ, the atonement, justification by faith alone, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the Trinity.

What Do We Believe?

Although we do have some latitude of thought within our organization, most of our members would hold to the following:

Jesus Christ:  He is the Virgin Born, Divine Son of God.  He alone is the Savior of the world, His shed blood and life having been given as ransom for ours.

Bible:  The Bible is God's Holy Spirit inspired Word.  It is our final authority on all matters spiritual.

Abortion:  We believe that abortion is taking a human life.  God has called us to protect the innocent and those unable to protect themselves, including the unborn.  Ours is a strong pro-life stance.

Gambling:  We believe gambling is a sin, and promotion thereof by government or private industry is a despicable attempt to profit from the addiction and frailty of others.
